Hello everyone!
I'm helping a friend find a new Corolla, a 2009-'13 depending on what she can afford. So far, we have test driven two Corollas and both had the touch screen stereo and she absolutely fell in love with that and really wants a Corolla with that stereo. The two we drove were both 2013s. I know the 2013s Toyota upgraded the stereo options to include the touch system.
My question I have for everyone here, if it happens that she get a Corolla older than a 2013, would it be possible to take the OEM stereo from the 2013 and install it on the older model?
I'm guessing it's possible as it's within the same generation I believe, but wonder if the wiring is plug and play or something more difficult.
Thanks!
