Front Speakers

Hello all,
Has anyone had any issue with the front door speakers? My front right speaker does not work (door) but the small tweet is fine.

Then the front left works on and off (almost like a loose connection)
Car is 2 years old 14 S model , No NAV.

Seems to be that there might be a fault with the wires in the doors.

are they easily exposed? just a mater of popping the cover off? or does the entire door panel have to come off?

In the 2013 the door panel needs to be taken off. Check with dealer as the car should still be under warranty

The whole panel would have to be taken off. What you must realize is that the wires are fed through a plastic tube that you would see once you open the door. Its possible that a wire could've been pinched.

Im bringing it in tomorrow, in Ontario Canada our warranty is 3 years or 60,000 kms. Im at 70,000 km's . So we will see what they say!

I'm in BC and yes, that is correct. I keep forgetting how much time has actually passed. My warranty ran out in Aug.
