Was so clod that I have not used my Dome light for awhile, switched from auto to off to on did not work? So after say a few hours I went back low and behold it worked . who knows if the cold affected it, slipping off plastic and its contacts. lucky mine cam back on as a used one was 33.00 online so hard today to find that part. maybe letting the car warm up helped it the bulb was good. I was lucky I got it to Auto and left it, but later like said got back to say before I find a new one work. It did some contact spray will be applied on a warmer day.

I said It was extremely cold that day. and did not use my Dome light led switch. when used the housing and fixture refused to work. when the car warmed up and whatever moisture that stayed on. caused the issue. me typing was off lol. DUH!

LOL, I don't mean this to be a negative but I find fishycomics has unique way of communicating things. I find if I read the post a couple times it helps to get the understanding. :)
Yeah it looks like this is the google translate post. I don’t think the problem is caused by extreme cold temperatures. It seems there’s there’s a lot of condensation in the dome light causing it to short out. So maybe a leak in the car. Windows open while raining. Just guessing.

Nope. Toyota always has a tight seal, humidity inside. the car extreme cold temp, froze the switch. the weather has been a lot warmer lately. a lil electrical grease can cure the issue. so no leak in this car, sorry maybe to much humidity when it is damp, ac always on when wet. lol. Since you love to say I google or babblefish things, try watching a video and see my strong accent. otherwise keep guessing.
