Dome light issue

Dome light stopped working. Replaced bulb & fuse. Still not working. Any suggestions? 04 Corolla. Original owner.

Hello! Did you check connection? The dome light can be removed and there is a clip in connector that can sometimes come loose. I'd post to a guide on replacing the dome light assembly but I am too new to post links. Hope this helps!

I'm getting the same issue, dome light works when turned on at dash light dimmer rheostat, but no by opening door. Door open switches turn on dash door open warning,. So light works, fuse works, door buttons work. Therefore something between the door buttons and dome light is inop. If there is a light around the steering lock key area, this is also not working.
Unsure if this car (CE model, very basic) has a delay dimmer relay for dome/key light. If it does I'm not sure her it is.
If anyone knows a way to easily bypass the relay, if there is one. I would appreciate the info.
