well my question what do you guys think should I get a aftermarket computer chip for my corolla S 04 or take the original one and get it updated? still new on all this car stuff lol but thx you in advance

Can't get an aftermarket chip for our cars like Honda's can. Also, our ECU's are locked. 05+ has been cracked but is super expensive to tune, but you are SOL on the 04. Your best bet is an aftermarket piggyback or standalone, like the AEM FIC. If you don't have extensive mods like a turbo, forget it. The stock ecu can handle almost everything NA like a cold air intake, exhaust, stage 1 cams, headers, ported head, different compression ratio...but I doubt you have done those. Just slap a cold air intake and an exhaust on, and call it a day. I'm parting an S out and have both for sale, if you are interested.
