Car runs and drives fine but this code keeps popping up for a few days and then goes away for a few days, then comes back???? Any help would be appreciated!
2001 Corolla LE 1.8 liter
90% of the time this is the result of a vacuum leak. Look for loose/missing clamps and hoses around the throttle body and the big (~3") rubber tube that goes between the throttle body and air filter box.
Thank you Harry. I checked my vacuum lines and didn't notice any obvious "leaks" but the lines were old and hard as rocks so I replaced them. The check engine light went off and hasn't come back on so far. I appreciate your suggestion.
