Check Engine Light/ Catallytic Converter Failure

I don't know about the code number, but I went to Advance Auto Parts and they scanned the computer in which the description was Catallytic Converter System Failure. Any idea what It could be??? I know I won't pass the check engine light test for inspections.

Well, a failed catalyctic convertor? Try going to a different Advance Auto Parts store and get another computer scan to see if the results are the same.

Aren't there sensors in the system that could be messing up too? I will go to other stores and double, triple check it. I am just trying to find out what other thigns could be wrong besides the cat.....EXPENSIVE!!
