Carplay/Android Auto Head Unit for ZRE152R 2012 Sedan?

Hello all,

I am looking to update my current radio console which looks like the image below. My car is right hand drive too.

I would like to get a head unit that has both apple car play and android auto along with a reversing camera.

Has anyone done this? Could you please share with me your pictures, model of head unit and experience using it (does it have long boot times, lag etc.)? I will get it installed at the shops as I am not well versed with installation myself.

A stereo with Android auto/CarPlay and a backup camera are both easy and readily available. I currently have the Alpine ILX-W650 which is very affordable ($300) and works fine with no lag. I would recommend you stick to name brands like Alpine, Kenwood, Pioneer and you should have no problems. While I can’t recommend a shop in your area, they aren’t hard to find as these types of upgrades are very common
