Hi all. I have an 01 Corolla S. It was sticking once and awhile when I would downshift (like a rusty linkage) One day, when this happened, I pumped the clutch and then wasn't able to put in gear. I started it in gear and it was fine for about a week. After that, it did it permanently (not going into gear running but can go into gear when shut off) and I had a soft pedal. I changed slave and bled, no resolve. The master was going down in fluid as my foot was coming off the clutch(releasing) so I changed the master as well. I now have a firm pedal but I cannot get the car into any gear. I've tried gravity, vacuum and two man bleeding. The clutch never slipped, no throwout bearing noises etc. Any ideas? I'm ready to scrap car as I've spent over 50 hours trying to bleed/fix and I need a daily driver as I've been out of a car for over a month. The slave rod travel when the pedal is pushed down is approx 1/2" Is this normal as well? any insight is much appreciated thanks
