I agree exactly with what brew captain just said. I am not familiar with Pakistan's fuel quality. If you are running a good quality fuel, there should be very little reason to run higher than 87 octane. If you live in very hot and dry climates and run a full load, running 89 octane or higher can help the engine run better as engines are more prone to knocking under those conditions. In that case, the higher octane makes it less likely that the engine would need to pull timing. If higher octane fuels in your country are refined to higher standards or have better additive packages, then running premium can be better.
