Blinker Flash Pattern Change

I went to the dealer for my routine check-up and also asked them to change the blinker flash pattern from 3 to 7. I wish now I had told them to change it to 5. 7 is a little long. Maybe next check-up.

Lane change indication - how many times the turn signal flashes when you move it slightly to one direction but don't go past the detent where it stays on until you turn.

Curious - do the dealers typically charge anything to change settings like this? (I'm guessing it might depend on where you bought the car or what else you are having done.)

What Tiger said. The default is 3, but at freeway speeds 3 is way too little. I'm going for 7, just because I do mostly freeway, and if I only need three blinks, I can hold it there for 3 and release it.

My appointment is this Saturday. Going to make sure my stereo is updated to the latest firmware as well.

I will. I think you check it in update firmware in settings. I'd have to play around with it

I just asked them to change it and they did. Pretty simple. They had to do it with their scan tool they said.

Had mine changed to 5 and it's works the best for me city or highway.
