I went to go and start it and it did not. When I try to start the car nothing happens, I don't hear the starter I only hear a couple clicks coming from an area under the steering wheel and on the dash, the only light or display that comes on is the battery light.
If I leave the key in the accessory position, the battery light will show and the radio comes on. If I turn it to On, the radio dies and the dash lights up the battery light while all the other lights attempt to come on (like brake light, gas gauge tries to move up, odometer tries to display, etc.). Not sure if it matters, but the settings in the radio (saved stations, bluetooth devices, etc.) all reset to factory which makes me think the battery is bad.
Also, if I try to unlock the car with the FOB, only the driver door unlocks and I don't get a sound like I usually do.
Same when I try to arm the alarm, it doesn't arm and I don't get a sound when I push the lock button on the FOB and it doesn't lock any of the doors.
Occasionally the car's electronics would start fine when I turned the key into the ON position, but as soon I turn to START nothing happens and the electronics die except for the battery light. I have a video uploading on YouTube now for better reference. I'll add it as soon as it uploads.
What do you guys think?
Would I be covered under Toyota's Warrany?
