I was browsing CarID.Com and noticed that there are Spec-D aftermarket headlights available for our cars. Seems that they replace the high and low lights with a bixenon projector. They come in three flavors: Smoke, Chrome, and Black.

No, they're LED. The high beam area looks really small ... unless it is combined into the low beam? They look neat, but I would have to see how the beam pattern stacks up to the OEM ones.

Personally, I'm waiting for taillights. I liked how the ones in my '08 Matrix look, dunno why Toyota went back to the all red lens.

No one can install these onto the 2014 Corolla because they have a huge design difference:


These headlights can only be installed on the 2011-2013 Corolla's only!

Aww...I can fix that with a dremel and some bondo. :laughing:

Seriously, hope they (a) fix their website and (b) come up with some lights that actually fit on the '14.

Update: I just emailed the company and ask them to clarify. It occurred to me that sometimes a site will put up a generic photo, but may actually ship a product that is slightly different. I'll let y'all know what they say if they respond.

Yeah, but if I am paying $200 for a pair of headlights, I deserve to know exactly what they look like. americanmuscle.com never does that (Mustang site, so none of us Corolla owners will find anything there unless you have a Mustang as a second car, LOL).

I was trying to figure out where the front-turn signal bulb was remembering that it is in-between and below the lows and highs, LOL!

Although I will say, the LED strip is kinda neat. Didn't somebody here do that with their '14? God what was that guys name?...

Ok, I got an email response from the good folks at CarID. I may order a pair of these. Worst case, if they don't fit, I'm out the time of calling these folks and yelling at them for a refund.

11:10 AM today, our girl Tiffany responded below. Bottom line, still no photo on a '14 Corolla. I told her I'd wait for their manufacture to provide a photo of the headlights on a 2014 model.

I call bull****. I have dealt with carid.com and I have been pleased. Be advised that regular reps won't know everything. If the manufacturer does not have pics I am guessing it won't fit.

I've never bought anything from them, but I agree.

I'll see what Tiffany says about my reluctance to purchase absent visual and photographic confirmation.
