2015 Corolla L Keyless Entry

I just bought a Toyota Corolla L and I want to add keyless entry to it. The guy at the dealership said it would be a bunch to do it there, but that it already has the actuators in it and to take it to a car and stereo shop. Is it possible for me to just buy the remotes and program them myself if it already has the actuators?

not sure but my question is why settle for a particular vehicle for price and spend money on getting options that are on other models. Why not spend the extra cash a and get the model with keyless entry already in it?

Actuators just unlock and lock the doors based on commands. You need the remotes and the module that will tell the actuators what to do based on inputs from the remotes.

There are several various kits out there. Get the one that has the best reviews, and if you aren't sure how to install it, any stereo shop should be able to get it done for you for a decent price.

Call them as well, as some shops won't install customer-ordered items for liability issues.
