I recently purchased 2011 Corolla. The dealer said that the jerking acceleration/deceleration issues were normal. Thanks to you all, and this forum, I went back with a print out of the bulletin showing the remedy. It now works as it should. I believe that if I had not gone in with the specific issue and remedy, they would have found nothing and charged a diagnostic fee of $130 per hour (CA).
