2007 Corolla - CEL Stays On

#1
The CEL came on in my Carolla so I took it into my mechanic. He took a reading and it showed codes for misfires. So far, ignition packs have been installed in three of the four cylinders. The fourth cylinder shows no problem. We can find no intake leak. Car still misfiring and light won't go out. The mechanic seems to think it might be a faulty ECM.

Simple question.........if I take my car into a Toyota dealership, is there a diagnostic that can be run to check out the ECM itself? What is the specific language I should use to request that test? By the way, the car has 72,000 miles on it.

As additional information, here are the codes as I read them this morning from an OBD I borrowed from my son-in-law.

They can check the ECM since they have the computers capable of doing so.

Looking at your codes though, it is actually the first cylinder that is fine.

How does the wiring look? The P0353 and P0354 concern me (coil C and D primary circuit failure). Any chance a critter got in the engine compartment and had a field day with some of the wiring?
