2004 Corolla - Motor Light On

So i'm driving to work this morning and all of a sudden my motor light comes on. It seems like nothing is wrong with the car but perhaps there is. The car has 244000 km's on it and I've never had any major issue with it.

Anybody have an idea or thought as to what caused this light to come on.

i have a 2005 toyota corolla
im a mechanic its ur o2 sensor ( exhaust ) not sure witch one but it is very common that the o2 sensor number 1 is the cause closest to the exhaust manifold

It could be a lot of things! Oil, transmission, could be big or small problem! Best to get it serviced sooner than later. Sometimes dealers give a discount on Corolla maintenance.

Motor light? Do you mean the, "Check Engine/Service Engine Soon", light?

No way to diagnose a car online. You'll need to get the vehicles onboard computer scanned to find out what is wrong. It could be a plethora of different things.
