2004 Corolla - Clicking Noise from Engine

Hi all,

This is my first post. I have recently started to hear a clicking noise from the engine of my 2004 Corolla (CE/Canadian). Car has 177K KM.

I am wondering if anyone can help me pin point the cause of this sound. It comes when the engine is idle (warm or cold). Here is a video clip after I had driven the car for about 30 minutes or so.

I would greatly appreciate any help, suggestions, pointers to know what's causing the noise and how to fix it.

It sounds like an exhaust leak. To diagnose, without getting burned, see if you can get your hand in the area that the noise is coming from to feel for any pulses of exhaust fumes coming out. When you open the hood, do you smell exhaust fumes?

Have ur tensioner check, I remember my 03 corolla used to sound kinda like tat before. Not priority, but I'd clean up those dirt/dust with a pressure wash.
