My 08 CE has automatic head lights and I’m in the US.

I would start with getting the brakes inspected. The rotors could have burns on them. I had the same issue with my cavalier.

For some reason I have noticed that the ignition is less picky about the key than the trunk and doors. My key works great in the ignition but I have a hard time in the doors and trunk. I did use some dry lube (graphite based) on the drivers door and it goes a lot easier.

Truthfully I have no idea. I like the idea of building up a 2.4 i4 out of a Camry and then dropping it in there. But I dunno.

If you fix the things that are wrong you can sell/trade it in for more $$. Toyotas have a high resale value. I get a lot of parts for mine off of eBay and Amazon. Junk yards usually have a few too. I remember they came off when I replaced the rear speakers. You might have to remove the seats, side molding and the speaker cover.

has anyone swapped the stock manifold for a header? If so is there a difference in power?

If you want to replace it might have to be a junkyard part but you might end up with the same issue.

That one looks like you would need to do dash mods. Down side is the placement of the vents on this gen. of corolla. You could always talk to an audio shop and see what they can do but you might end up throwing up major $$. If you can find a double Din stereo it will fit in the stock hole.

No its right on starting and nothing is on I checked the engine bay and everything seems to be good.
