My on board cpu says 26.1 avg mpg 159 range with needle slightly above half avg mph 12.

My mpg is crap.

What are ways to improve mpg besides changing driving characteristics ?

Ajn what do u mean by brake piston sticking? How do u check for that? What are signs or indication of that besides mpg. FYI I'm not a mechanic.
