Thinking About Buying A New Corolla But Have Question

In my old manual civic, if I had a long stretch with no traffic with a downhill gradient or no need to accelerate or brake soon, I used to switch into neutral and coast. Can I do this with my automatic rolla by shifting from D to N at say 30 mph and coast? Do I have to press the brake while...

    My best tank yet!

My car is 3 weeks old. Does mpg get better later after more miles? The screen tells me I am getting only 31.5 in a mix of hwy and city. I thought it would be higher with a rolla :-( I have only filled my tank twice since I bought it so i have not done a "fill and divide miles/gallons" math yet.

    2015 Corolla S Premium Bugs

Doesn't high revving waste gas and strain the engine? I thought it did, so I never rev even a manual past 2500.

    2015 Corolla S Premium Bugs

Wow, that is high revving. Yes, my old civic I never revved near 2500. I'll keep the rolla in D and use M only for fun then. The auto (my first auto ever) is no fun. like driving a boat.

Thinking About Buying A New Corolla But Have Question

Reviews say the '15 Corolla has much body lean. What is this? When I turn my car, my body leans outwards. But happens in all cars. Do they mean the Corolla's body forces outwards. That also happen sin all cars. The corolla's center of gravity is higher than my old civic I feel. Maybe that is why...

Thinking About Buying A New Corolla But Have Question

That still looks better for Toyota than Mazda. My cousin had a Mazd6 10 years ago that had very bad reliability issues.

    2015 Corolla S Premium Bugs

OK, I drove in M mode today but it did not change gears even at high rev. I did not go near the red line though.

Flame Magnet, Vinyl Flames, or Wrap

This is what I'd like for my '15 S Prem. It is blue so I'd like white racing stripes. Where do you get them installed? I tried wrap shops but they are way too expensive. Also, why do posters spell them as ricer and not racer on this forum?

Thinking About Buying A New Corolla But Have Question

I looked it up. JD Powers reports Mazda3 reliability as 2.5 and Corolla as 4.5 out of 5.

Thinking About Buying A New Corolla But Have Question

You being sarcastic, bro? :-) Of course corollas are the most reliable! I was wondering about the 3GT because I have read complaints from Mazda owners about suspensions. Even Edmunds's longterm Mazda3 road test mentions 4 dealer repairs in 1 year.
