    Driving uphill

it's your CVT. the idea behind CVT is to have the engine always in the power band. when going up hill it take more RPM to maintain in that power band so CVT's will usually keep the RPM's higher.

New member in Central NJ seriously consider Corolla!

I would stick to the LE. Nothing against the ECO but I find it hard to pay the extra money for the minor gains. Now if you can find a really good deal on an ECO then go for the ECO. Ultimately it will be your ride so I would research and decide on what works for you.

    Windshield Sprayer Questions

well, not an expert but the hose might be to brittle. Try cutting the end of the hose (1/4 inch maybe) and that will give you a fresh connection and maybe it will hold.

Question about the sail panels. (Aftermarket Tweeter Install)

should be the same. They will not make two different doors for same vehicle. All they do is use different trim pieces as to what spec the vehicle is being built. just get some tweeters, get the panels from a wreckers that has the tweeters and bolt them up.

    2013 Corolla winshield

well, this won't be as colourful (that is spelt right as in Canada we use ou not just o, and yes outside of the U.S. Spelt can be interchanged with spelled) as taco'rolla but chips will happen. Question about foul ac vent smell for current 2013 owners

have 2013 will be 2 years in Aug. no problems with me. I rarely use A/C where I'm at maybe few times in the summer BUT when I do use it I always turn it off and let the fan blow all the moist cold air out of the lines for a few minutes before turning engine off (usually few minutes before I...

    What kind of fuel injection?

Port injection. Hyundai, Kia use direct injection (GDI) and others use Direct injection. Toyota likes to stick to the tried and true and does not have any Direct injection engines (in North America anyway) that I know about. Except I believe one of the new engines in the new Tacoma has direct...

    Tinted Windshield

one, it is illegal in the US to tint your front windshield, in many cases even the front windows can't be tinted. Personally it is hard enough at night to see as it is and by tinting your windshield it would be even worse to see. Why do it? to look cool at the expense of safety?

    LOCATION OF THE HEADERS

It all depends on the engine design. Some have intake on front some have it on back. Normally the exhaust (headers) will be on the other side of the intake. On the 1.8 Corolla the intake is in the front and exhaust in the rear. There may be a way to rotate the engine forward a bit to get better...

How Low Can I Run the Gas Tank Before I Run Out of Gas?

I get to the nearest gas station when the light comes on. I might go 10 KMS before and there is still some gas left but I don't push it. I would rather not be stranded with an empty tank.
