I had similar thought, but i was probably carrying noticeabley larger weight, so i kept overdrive back on due to elevation and engine strugling up hill. But never thought of using S and B mode. What is it's purpose? Betz

Sorry, it seems you are experiencing some frustrating lack of results...This isn't an authoritative answer, but I would say spend the money on a new battery since you feel the old one is faulty anyways. Hope to hear this move got the job done and solved your frustration! Batz

You have a good point. Dealer has to get the mechanic to test & drive do better than a quick answer. Bring it back have it checked and document the paperwork. To me sounds like bad fuel or water in the gas tank. Was it sitting and stored long before you purchase it? Betz
