i drive mostly highway and roll out my stops as mush as possible. at 80k my brakes showed very little wear.

the whole change oil by mileage thing is somewhat misleading as mileage alone doesnt tell the whole story. if someone drives 10 miles a day and another person drives 100, the oil condition for each vehicle will be drastically different after 3000 miles.

this should get you started, also check the idle air control motor and the throttle position sensor

technically yes but only a few ounces of fluid comes out and any air seems to work its way out on its own.
