the car isnt worth much, try the sealer and see what happens. if it doesnt fix the issue you can try doing a head gasket yourself just prepare yourself to pay for it if you get over your head. not sure if that is an interference engine but if it is you have to get the timing perfect.

yeah really, if 9200 is cheap for a transmission i have a bridge to sell you. the trans in my viper was no where near that much. 9200 for a trans on a 20k car is nuts. if mine blows up ill get a new car.

every car with a steering wheel lock can have this issue if it locks in a certain spot. every once in a while mine (non push button) gets very hard to turn so i just turn the wheel hard against the lock to take the pressure off it and the key turns fine.
