    2009 Corolla 1.8

This post in a new thread makes absolutely zero sense!

I'm just gonna leave this here...

I've baked my headlights several times to open them up when doing a HID retrofit with no issues. They have always sealed right back up as there is plenty of the black sealant. If you were every worried you can even get additional sealant if you wanted. No need to be paranoid about it not sealing...

    Recommendations for performance upgrades?

Fuel filters in the Corolla are in the fuel tank and aren't really designed to be changed. The other benefit in today's world is that gas is filtered at every step of delivery where it never used to be decades ago. The easier thing to do might be to add an additional fuel filter in line that was...

    HIGHEST MILEAGE 11TH GEN.

It's being one with the machine and having more control over the car. You saying that just shows that you aren't a true car guy. People that love the essence of driving and controlling a car will understand the love of rowing your own gears. Anyone can put a car in drive, steer and brake while...

    Opinion on the sunroof?

I love having a sunroof, always a pleasure to open it up and get the fresh air. I love the extra light it provides too even on rainy days by having the shade cover open. Get the sunroof, you won't regret it.

New to the corolla looking for some help!

The kit is designed to be able to do it alone if you want to. I chose some optional mods but they are optional. I decided to ceramic coat the exhaust manifold, turbo and downpipe and upgrade the exhaust but those are not must do things for the turbo to deliver some much wanted additional power...

    HIGHEST MILEAGE 11TH GEN.

CVT's don't have different gears, the shift points you refer to are more to make people think it shifts like an automatic does. If it doesn't have a 3rd pedal it's not a manual transmission! I always get a kick out of people when they mention driving in rush hour traffic and using a manual...

    Ordering my exhaust and cai.

So if you wanted a MT why did you buy a CVT? I would never settle for a lame CVT when I can enjoy the fun that a MT offers.

    Extreme Corolla

Great to see another turbo Corolla! Not sure why Toyota doesn't offer the sam thing. The rear spoiler looks stupid as do the doors. The lack of a "B" pillar looks lame too. I love the hood scoop for a place for heat under the hood to vent.

    Recommendations for performance upgrades?

What's wrong with this picture? The lame "D" showing that you have a CVT. Should have bought a ^MT for some real driving enjoyment. The 225/45R17 tires aren't really baby tires. They are wider then any Corolla tire though the Corolla should come with them instead of the too small 215/45R17. The...

Just paint them red, very simple.

    HIGHEST MILEAGE 11TH GEN.

I can tell there are very few real car guys here. Where has all the love of driving gone with everyone driving a lame CVT. There is so much more enjoyment when driving a manual trans. People seem to have a lot of excuses but for people that really love cars and driving will buy a MT. Life is too...

New to the corolla looking for some help!

You can add an intake and exhaust. I had a Borla exhaust and Takeda SRI before I did my turbo. I saw about a 10HP gain on the dyno. It's a small amount but if you want some serious extra power then go turbo. You can get the kit from Turbokits.com for under $3k, by far the most HP per dollar of...

    Replacement radio for Corolla 2013

I have a Rosen in my Corolla, looks more OEM then the OEM Navigation units! In my xB I have a more traditional Kenwood and in my Previa I have a Pioneer. Just stick to a good name brand and you should be fine, Kenwood, Alpine, Pioneer are all decent.

2011 Corolla LE Interior Part Replacement

You might be able to sand it and paint it to match.

New to the corolla looking for some help!

It's cheaper to just turbocharge your Corolla than do an engine swap. I gained 100HP with my turbo install with a mild tune. It's an amazing car to drive now in every regard.

How can the daytime running lights be disabled - 2013 Corolla

Here is a thread about how to do it. I did this mod many years ago. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/325-corolla-10th-gen-2nd-gen-matrix-exterior-forum/309869-diy-disable-drl-autolights-independent-fog-light-mod-w-pics.html

2010 Toyota Corolla - Water Pump Replacement

Usually you will see pink fluid splattered across the underside of the hood from it. Look to see if you can see any signs of that or have the place that is telling this to you to show you. I've heard it's very simple to replace so $475 sounds expensive.

Battery Relocate To The Trunk - Pics

After turbocharging my Corolla I want to use an oil cooler. I swapped out the cartridge oil filter for a spin on design so that I can install the oil cooler. When I tried to fit a thermostatic sandwich plate to install the oil cooler there wasn't enough room to position is correctly so that's...
