just put a spacer bolt between the two flanges that connect the borla exhaust to the flange on your exhaust pipe and it will be much louder and still allow most of the exhaust to flow out your borla......dont cut off your cats...trust me...just don't lmao

also im not sure if you are aware, there is a nationwide firmware update on CVT corolla transmissions that makes the tranny run much much smoother.

mine does the same thing when i smash the pedal to the floor in sport mode, it is just the transmission, remember it is running on belts no gears so it would make sense that it would create a loud screeching sound when under stress something like gears would make a clunk or bang or no sound at...

nothing, there is a thread floating around the forum of a guy who had a TRD exhaust and a short ram intake with a pedal commander throttle controller and put it on a DYNO and got little to absolutely no power gain....and running the quarter mile on a track as well yielded no noticeable...

I've been to 3 audio shops and the preferred choice they all go with is Memphis Audio and ARC Audio....i live in So-Cal.....they do have lower end brands but at all the shops the top brand where those two.

update.....i installed it and it sounds great!!! you can take off the silencer and it gives you a straight pipey kinda tone with ought all the raspiness..... and with the silencer it is juuuusssttt right.... deep tone on start up....acceleration is a deep tone but not enough to call it a...
