COB Led DRLs

#1
Hey everyone. I bought a pair of COB Led DRLs to test out. I have honestly never thought I would find something so bright for so little ($12). Attached is a picture of the light hooked up to my battery...in broad daylight...and they are bright. Be advised though, some reviews about the wires being flimsy are true. Then again, they are DRLs, they are not meant to be in motion.

I want to make it be like, when the day time running headlights is on (once we switch it to DRL), the COB Led would be on together. Is there any tutorial and make this thing happen?

Simple splicing step.

1.) Locate the low beam wires.
2.) Locate positive wire (make sure it is 12v).
3.) Is a wire stripper to remove some wire covering.
4.) Solder Positive wire from COB Led to positive wire from low beam.
5.) Either ground the negative from the COB Led to the frame, battery, or splice it into the led low beam negative wire.
6.) DO NOT FORGET TO WRAP THE WIRES IN HIGH QUALITY ELECTRIC TAPE.

-Make sure the low beam fuse can handle the extra wattage of the COB Leds.
-You can also use a wire splice connector, they are fairly cheap.
