How often and what kind of maintenance does the 2018 corolla's CVTi-S Continuously Variable Automatic transmission need?

See the maintenance manual that was provided by Toyota with your owners manual. It typically only requires scheduled CVT inspections, but dealerships are hush, hush about what that entails. You'll get mixed opinions between various dealerships on when to change the fluid. Most don't recommend it be changed until 100K miles. Have a look and let us know what's documented for your model. Curious....

I take my 2016 to the dealer every 50-60K miles and just bite the bullet and get is replaced. I'm at 71000 miles and no issues so far

How much does your dealer charge? For a fluid change (drain and fill, not flush)

Thanks Nebulla. When i went in for the fuel pump recall, i asked them for some details regarding their recommendation for CVT service. My delearship charges $300 for a drain and fill, $400 for a flush. The maintenance schedule the service rep recommended was 1st 100K then 50K after that for a drain and fill. I neglected to ask him where/how he got those numbers.
