Excited i just ordered some 18x9.5 +30 offset

Klutch SL5 matte black with bronze lip

Im going to put some 225/40s

Cant wait till they get here lol hopefully it will look ok with blue crush

Lowering springs im going to be using are Sprint springs from a Toyota Matrix 1.7 drop so i dont know how low it will make my 11th gen

That’s a pretty good combo there.
You’ll maintain the overall ride quality, improve on the handling and look good at the same time. Nice!
I like the subtle drop and I think the wheels will go well on your color Corolla.

Thanks,yea everybody says 18s so i figure 18s it is haha,and i wanted something different so i figure not too many people have this color combo and style. As soon as i get them they are going on but the springs will have to wait till its warmer so ill be riding high for another 2 months lol. But in the mean time ill get some exhaust work done.

Those are huge and heavy!! They look smaller though due to the shorter spokes. In most circles people think that 17" size is best for handling, weight, acceleration, braking and cost. My 17x8 +35mm offset wheels only weigh 17 lbs which is 5 lbs less than the 16" OEM wheels. After lowering your Corolla the new wheels will look even better!

Actually that is stretching the tire quite a bit. You can see how much farther the edge of the wheel is than the tire edge. I wouldn't go any wider then a 8.5" wheel with a 225/40R18 tire even though it does say you can go as wide as 9" max on TireRack. I would stick with a 8" as the tire then also provides little protection for the wheel.

Just keep an eye on the tire pressure and you should be fine. On my last set of wheels I checked it every 3 weeks and I only lost 3-5 PSI with a 205/40 tire on a 17x10 wheel, never debeaded once in my life running stretched tires the past 4 years.

I'm running less stretch now 235/40 on a 18x10.5 and check it every month, I only lose about 1 PSI.

I also bought some 18x9.5 wheels but they came with 215/35/18 tires and I really don't like the way they look on my car.
Eventually I am going to replace the tires on their but I'm wondering if I can get away with 225/45/18 tires without any fender modifications.

I have 225/40s. I actually have not lowered it yet, so I'm not sure if it's going to rub. i havent been into cars much this whole year no motivation. Ive been ridding stock height this whole time lol. But I may get some coilovers soon so if it rubs I'll just adjust it. I don't want to be tucked in because the back wheels seem to move closer to the front the lower you go so it might rub in the back. But I'm not 100 percent sure

Depends on your clearance take a piece of cardboard and cut it to the size of your wheelwith your current tire. jack the car and take the wheel off. Use your cutout and move it up til the "wheel" has at least two inchs of clearance from all sides of the fender. This should allow your suspension to move freely without it rubbing. Aftermarket or stock ride height minimal clearance will vary depending on the setup. Ask a professional for exact calculation. That's why we pay them. The cutout idea should give you reference only. The proper diameter and size would be 225/40R18 tires.
