2016 toyota corolla oil filter how I change a stuck

#2
Oil change what if that filter gets stuck. if you never had one stuck this is how I do it . endjoy

Thank you much for this video! I have yet to change the oil in my 2018 Corolla but when I used to work on our other cars, sometimes there was not enough room to get a large enough channel lock style wrench in there. There are many ways of getting off a stuck oil filter. Regarding the choice of oil filter wrenches, in my personal and limited experience, i've found that the Cap style Oil Filter wrench, which failed for you, has also often failed for me. Only very specific brands/kinds of oil filters fit well enough for it to work. I bought a clamp style oil filter wrench as well and have found it to be work more universally, on different oil filters, than the cap style. Again, I'm sure the clamp style may not be ideal for all oil filters but i think it works on more models and better than the clamp style. It has saved me a couple of times already.
