I got rear ended yesterday and now my car shows that my trunk is open, is there anyway to stop my car from beeping at me because it thinks my trunks open?

If you got rear ended, you should report this to your insurance and let them deal with damages. IT's most likely either the open/closed sensor that's broken or the latch itself is no longer latching properly. Either way, you shouldn't have to deal with this since someone else hit you.

I’m getting it fixed right now at a dealership! I had to kick the trunk out a little from the inside then open it and slam it down for it to stop beeeping. Should be back in a week or two!
