transmission fluid

Does the 2015 corolla has a joystick to check level of transmission fluid. Does the fluid need to be changed regualarly
It dose not. you have to take it to the dealer to be checked or changed. Its life time oil. The following is the only thing your 2015 manuel says about it. In newer cars you ahouls not have to add tranny fluid.

Continuously variable transaxle

*: The fluid capacity is a reference quantity.
If replacement is necessary, contact your Toyota dealer.

I hear every 50K miles you service it !
Check your manual - Mine has lifetime fluid ,you dont have to change it. You will hear a lot of personal opinions on here about when to change it and when to change engine oil. I prefer to go by whats in the manual. I figure the engineers who designed the engine and tranny know more than the shade tree mechanics on here. but what ever floats your boat and makes you feel secure !

You don't mention if you have a 6MT, 4AT or CVT. In any event, most modern transmissions are "sealed". It means no dipstick, so checking or changing require some tool and procedure. "Lifetime fluid" is a bit of an overstatement that you won't find in the owner manual, but comes from the fact that there are no specific change intervals : just check and act appropriately. In the case of the CVT, "checking" involve more than just the level of fluid, but also its condition. Your owner manual suggest checking every 30K and mandatory fluid replacement every 60K (30K for the 6MT) if the car is used in "severe driving conditions" : extensive idling and/or low speed driving for a long distance such as police, taxi ordoor-to-door delivery use or numerous short trips.

ohhh, can't do this @ home, unless you have the 10K + equipment , I drive the Rolla IM 2017 and I was told that
it needs to be done every 50K miles !
There was a clip on how the trans fluid chanced it's done, you would need to serch it, men, it takes more then what you think !

I do check my vehicles every sunday morning, oil,, water, tire pressure etc......
