Hey guys, I want to install engine bay lighting, not for looks, but so that I can see under the hood at night. I want to have it simply hooked up to a manual switch, nothing fancy.
Do any of you guys have any ideas on how to attach LED strips or something of the sort (I'm open to anything) to the underside of the hood so that the lights and/or the adhesive or whatever are not destroyed by the heat of the engine? My thought is putting 2 strips, one on each side of the underside of the hood, 6 inches or so in from each side. This still doesn't solve the issue of how to safely attach the strips to the hood though.
Oh, and if anyone cares, I drive a 2014 Corolla S+.
Any idea? Thanks!
