it wasn't hard to install and around 3100rpm you can really hear the sound difference.

Ahhh ok, that's a short ram. I wish AEM made a cold air.

Yeah, i like it I just installed it today and drove a couple hundred miles on it and you can really notice a difference in the sound.

Looks a lot like the HPS short ram intake. You should get the JetChip mass air flow sensor to go with. It'll help your throttle response.

Which one? AEM or HPS?

HPS, I didn't even know AEM had any for the new Corrolla. I come from Honda's so the toyota world is newer to me

The AEM one is nice too. Cost almost as much as the injen cai does though.

AEM seams a touch overpriced for it's components . Unless your just brand loyal or like the specific look.

Yeah it's sorta overpriced

Takeda makes a nice one as well. $249 on autoanything.com but it only comes in one "color".

True ...But plasti-dip comes in several..I'd color that tube anything else but chrome. ;-)

What is the part number used from AEM? I called them and they said they have no CIA for the regular corolla, Just the IM.

True ...But plasti-dip comes in several..I'd color that tube anything else but chrome. ;-)

Only problem with doing that is that the tube gets very hot during operation. Powder coating it would hold up better to the heat, wouldn't you agree?

I had a Takeda SRI on my 09 Corolla S for many years before I turbocharged it. It looked excellent and sounded even better. Never threw a code in 6 years.

It fits the Corolla just fine the IM one fits perfectly on to the normal Corolla.

It will fit. Only difference between 2014-16 and 2017+ is cosmetic.
