so i got a borla exhaust for my car and im very hapoy with it, install was a very easy and it sounds amazing, specially that popping sound when i let go of the throttle.
that being said, i have a couple questions.

1.-short air intake or cold air intake?
2.-coil overs or springs? im thinking springs from megan racing.
3.-want to upgrade headlight to LED, what brand of LED do u recomend?
4.-i want to get the chip throttle response thing but that seems to void the warranty. so if anything happens to the car, can i just take it off before taking the car for service?

The car already comes with a cold air intake, of sorts. If you plan on keeping it for a while, I would go with cold air setup. I went with short ram in case I ever want to return it to stock.
I've never had a vehicle with coil overs, so no opinion here. I'm going to use the TRD springs, if I ever get around to it!
I'm sure there's a ton of LED's bulbs out there for your taste. Personally, I seem to be sticking with Phillips. They claim to be the only "street legal" approved manufacture. I have both cars loaded with Phillips LED's. (Should have bought some stock!)
And finally, out of sight out of mind. Should I need to take mine in for service, I can easily swap out intakes. I'm sure you could do the same with the throttle chip.
Btw, keep all of your OEM parts! Too expensive not to keep!

Why do you want to upgrade your headlights, they are already LED and I would say they are some of the brightest lights I have seen on a car, unless you are talking high beams or fogs. I got Eibach springs and am really happy with them, low enough to make the wheel cap look good but not slammed where it looks dumb.

1. If you want performance gains, get a cold air intake but if you just want a better induction sound, get a short ram intake.
2. Depends on if you just want a lower ride or better handling. Both accomplish both but coilovers are very adjustable and can go very low but are more expensive.
4. The dealer can't blame the throttle controller if the problem isn't related to it. If it is, then just take it off before you send it in for warranty.

I have megan racing springs and it looks good. It's not crazy low but it's low enough. If you want it low low I would go with D2 springs if your looking at springs and not coilovers. The megan racing springs, put it this way when you go to your car put three fingers vertically above your tire and that's how low it will be.

If you like that popping sound, add intake and a jet chip MAF sensor. Makes it pop even more!

im sorry but i dont understand the difference between the short and the regular intake, i wanna get performance gain, any recomendations?

A short ram intake is kind of like the stock intake but it's less restrictive which is what gives you the better induction sound. It does give you a bit more power but not much since it's not sucking in cold air from the outside. Instead a cold air intake will give you more power since it gets cold air straight from the outside and brings it into the engine. There are a few cold air intakes available for the Corolla but one that I can recommend is an Injen CAI. http://store.newlevelmotorsports.com/sp2080.html

You cant order directly from the retailer. However you can have it shipped to friend/family/anyone in any other state, who could in turn, ship to you in California.

i got it, how bout getting a short ram intake and making a custom air duct running fron the grill to the short ram intake? that way, the intake will be taking cold air from the front of the car.
im thinking making a custom air box for the shorty so it cant suck in hot air from the engine and making a hole on the airbox to fit an air duck to provide cold air from the grill of the car. better yet, fitting that air duct with a small fan to help get cold air into the airbox. what do you think, i think its pretty doable. i did the same thing with my nitro rc car, i fitted the car with a small fan at the front of it and a hose running from the front direclty to the carburator.
