My kid hit a curb with her 97 and bent the lower control arm, and it sounds like probably destroyed the wheel bearings also. The shop wants nearly $400 to replace the bearing and the hub, but I can get a used knuckle for like $60. Curious if anyone has replaced the knuckle on a Corolla? Do I need any speciality tools? I've pulled the knuckle off an old ford before and once you broke the tie rod, ball joint, and strut loose, it just lid right off.
