Vibration

Hi,

My car has strange vibration. When I bought there is too much vibration, so my mechanic checked and I replaced the rear engine mount as it was broken. After that it vibrates at 1000~1100 rpm and 1900~2000 rpm. On all other engine speed it is good but only vibrates on these rpm. I cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor. Also check the intake leak but all is ok. Any ideas where to look more.

Did you check the other 3 engine mounts? Since one was broken, it may have put more load or strain on the other mounts and possibly broken one of them. Or one of the engine mounts is not fully tightened down?

The other 3 mounts are ok, I have witnessed the 2 of them myself and their no sign of crack or rubber wear. If they are not fully tightened then there will metal noise. which is not there.

I see some oil Leak from the engine. Not sure where it is coming from. My 6th sense is saying that I have a bad Timing chain tensioner. But I am not sure if this could cause the vibration.

I think I'm having the same issue, did you check the tensioner after all?

Yes, I checked. Infact I simply replaced with the new tensioner. The leak is gone now I guess.

But the Vibration is still there.
