By road noise, are you meaning lack of substantial sound deadening material?
Underneath the car, especially wheels wells, yes. It also has to do with the tires themselves (slightly worse with winter tires) but it varies with the quality of pavement. On newly paved sections, the car is whisper quiet.
It's not that bad, though. As I said, it is fairly quiet. Much more, actually, than other models I test drove at the time of buying (Mazda3/Civic).
But they could have gone the extra-mile underneath or with heavier carpet, since they did a good job with mechanical noises. Also, different ears might have different sensibilities.
