What can you do to make a 2014-15 Corolla faster

So I drive a 2014 Corolla S with the CVT transmission. This car is great for road trips, cruising, etc. but it's slow. Yeah I know it has a low power engine but I want to know how I can add some extra horsepower and make it got faster

hey try to swap with an old corolla XRS engine. made a bunch more power. i forget what they're called. research it. tell me if the car blows up and if not ill do it too!
