2014 corolla LE cvt

Hey there, I have a 2014 toyota corolla LE with the CVT transmission. Recently in gear on a hill in drive, when to accelerate normal and if violently jerked forward, bogged down. About 2 second span. Did not die, has only happened once, any ideas on what that is? I know its tough to diagnose. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks guys!!

Some more and clear information might be more helpful. Which "gear" were you in, what was the grade of the hill, and what speed where you at before attempting to accelerate?

Hi there. I was in drive, dead stop and a 7% incline

Might be the belt just having a delay re-engaging and/or the hill-assist function to knock off.
