K&N Intake/Air Filter

Sorry if this is a repeat thread. I am new to Corolla. I am wondering if anyone has installed a K&N intake or air filter in there 2014 corolla sport. if so did any lights come one on the dash, or did your car throw a code? Have you seen any fuel milage increase? And does it void any warranty.

No aftermarket products void a new car warranty. That would be against federal law, i.e. the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act -

It can void the warranty if they can prove the the cause of the problem is brought by the installed aftermarket accessories.

There is already a thread for this...but I just installed my typhoons yesterday and it was extremely easy. The only things you remove are the battery and the old filter box with its components. Everything is made to fit directly as it would be OEM.

No experience here with either but I was checking this video of Injen installed to his '14, really sounds good and with no issues:

I'm still prefer K&N and been searching for good deals like this one:

My 2010 just has the air filter of kn but the only thing i notice is the woosh and midrange pickup

I just bought the K&N SRI // pumped to throw that thing on there!

I have used the short ram k&n . I switched to the injen cold air intake. Sounds really good also delivers more cold air that the shirt ram.

K&N INSTALLED!!! Pretty loud but I love it...Chris, I noticed that I lost a little bit in the lower RPM's but really strong when I get to about 4-5000 RPMS

No, you should be able to go for at least six months or longer.
You actually have to use a kit that you can buy to recondition it.
