The window regulator assembly gave way in my '94 corolla dx. I bought an after market replacement assembly without the motor to replace the original OEM window regulator.
A zip-tie was used by the supplier to keep the cables wrapped around the pulley on the replacement window regulator assembly.
I removed the zip-tie that held the cables to the plastic pulley so that I could mount the pulley to the window regulator motor.
When I cut the zip-tie, the cables came unraveled like a slinky high on crack.
I have called the aftermarket supplier for advice regarding the installation. They are sending a new aftermarket window regulator assembly. However, they could not offer any suggestions regarding installation.
Anyone else been through this? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Your time is appreciated.
