VIDEO - Corolla makes weird sound on start up, how can we fix this?

When the car starts up from a cold start, it makes that weird sounds for the first 2 seconds. Does anyone know what it is or how to fix it?

I've seen this a few times and am pretty much sure that's the fix.

However, I'm worried about cost. This is actually my GF's car and I know she bought it used and with more than 90,000 miles. So the warranty won't help us... What's tour next choice?

Also, what will happen if we don't do the repair? How long can we go on without repairing it? We want to repair it, but 3,500 is a lot of money right now.

dont worry, it wont break it. that is just from the cold start, that engine oil is not settling up yet.

it is the camshaft timing gear assembly, i guess.

3500$? put it onto a new corolla.
