2007 Toyota Corolla 1.8 VVTi with triptronic
I am facing an issue with the Triptronic gear, when I put the car in Drive (D) the screen shows 3rd gear next to S. Then I have to shift the gear down to 1, manually, before I can drive, the car runs fine after that and the gears automatically change till the car comes to a dead stop, where the gear goes to the third directly.
I have tried contacting the local dealer for this but they haven't been able to sort this issue.
I would appreciate if anyone could help me, or refer to global Toyota engineers who could sort this.
