Where is auto trans fluid plug? Over due on 60 k maintenance.

Many if not most automatic transmissions don't have a drain plug in the transmission pan. To replace the fluid in the pan, the pan itself has to be removed and while it's off, the transmission filter should be replaced along with a new pan gasket.

What year is your Corolla and what engine is it equipped with?

i think i need to check the fluid level but have no idea where the plug is located...there is no dipstick ..apparently the plug it is under car? and if is under car what is best way to add fluid to it..thanks

Ther most certainly is a drain plug on my '05 'Rolla

Easier to do it if u have Automatic. Try take auto class at community college, u can learn/changed oil other stuff there with their tools for free.

The auto does indeed have a drain plug, I have replaced the fluid numerous times on the several corollas I have owned.
