I recently just bought a 1993 Toyota Corolla from Craigslist for $650 after registration and taxes it came to about $1050. The car is in not bad, but not fair condition. Primer gray, except the white hood and oxidizing black roof. The car itself has 320k miles on it however the motor runs solid, minus the much needed motor mounts, power steering rack, and numerous suspension bushings(sway bars, etc.) the shocks and springs were recently replaced and timing belt was JUST replaced. I've replaced the alternator, and the left front CV Axle. Sound system also needs re-wired and pretty much just redone(speakers, deck, etc.) and the headliner needs a little TLC. Other than that pretty large list now that I've written it out lol, the car isn't that bad. I guess what I'm trying to get to, is if I'm willing to make this a project car... And I mean real project(it's auto, I'd want to convert it to 5-spd) would it be worth it? Or should I just try to get what I can for a trade in?
