Hi, I have a 2015 Corolla LE, and also a 1999 Corolla CE which my girlfriend just bought off of me. She is interested in changing out the front seats (or at least the driver's seat). She doesn't have any issues with the comfort or positioning of the seat itself; it's the stock headrest---the way it's kind of angled forward a little bit.
I was wondering if any of you had any experience selecting a non-stock seat to put in, or any advice on something like this. I've never done anything like this before (the headrest never bothered me).
Also, in terms of safety, would having different seats lead to any safety issues if the airbag were ever to deploy? Forgive my airbag ignorance---I've never been in an accident where airbags deployed. I assume that just removing the stock headrest would be bad, because you'd want some support behind your head if the airbag were to deploy.
Thanks for any and all help.
