I have a 2009 Corolla. I have the P0017 engine fault code. I replaced the rear VVT valve control, did not fix.
I've tried to locate the OCV filter, can't find it. If someone knows where the OCV valve filter is please send me a pic with detailed pictures. Also, if you've found the cause of this code let me know.
I too have the noisy sound at cold start, haven't figured it out either.
