I bought a new Optima group 35 battery for my 2007 Toyota corolla but the battery hold down doesn't fit. It was recommended at the store and I see it advertised online as an option for a 2007 Corolla. I've been advised to use a die to cut more threads on the rod and then use bungies, but before I do that if there is a better way I would love to hear about it! It seems odd it's recommended yet clearly doesn't fit, so I'm hoping I'm missing something. Thanks for any thoughts on the matter and if you've gotten one to fit, I'd be very interested in hearing how?
